Which brand of popcorn pops the most? I’ve had many of you guys and girls asking me this really odd question alot lately and i seriously don’t know why you would even want to know such a thing, it’s pretty strange but i guess i’ll write about it anyway because that’s what i’m here for, right? Maybe you guys could let me know the reason why you need to know the answer to this question in a comment, do you need to know for school? College? Just for fun? Maybe you’d like to know so you can empty out a bag into your microwave and watch it blow that thing to pieces in *type number of pops here* pops… Then again, maybe not. Seriously though, maybe you’d like to get the most for your money, maybe you’re trying to find the most cost efficient bag by comparing prices and amount of kernals popped. It could be many reasons. Anyway, i’ll do you a favour stop with the chitter chatter now and throw you the answer.

Okay, here comes the answer, are you ready for it? Are you? Can we get a drum roll for this one? No? Oh okay, i guess i can do without it. We did a little experiment or test if you like, to find out our own answer to this question for you and we used six different brands of popcorn for the best results: Orville Redenbacker, Act II, Best Choice, Jolly Time, Pop Secret and finally Newman’s Own. As a result to our test, there was a clear winner in our eyes with the most kernels popped at the end. Newman’s Own was our winner with 97% of all kernels popped. Pop Secret in second place and Jolly Time coming third.
